Socioeconomic determinants of micro and small enterprise growth in North Wollo and Waghimira Zone selected towns

Abstract This study aims to investigate the socioeconomic determinant factors that affect growth of micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in North Wollo Waghimira Zone selected towns. In this study, a cross-sectional research design with both descriptive explanatory has been employed, 303 owners have participated. The towns were purposely, respondents also by using simple random sampling technique. data analyzed STATA v-14 applied binary logistic regression analysis (odds ratio). finding revealed age owner, access finance, family business background, interest rate most likely statistically significant level. On contrary, entrepreneurship training, experience inflation rate, competition less statistical remaining such as gender owners, education age, type, location, social responsibility, tax attitude not determine MSEs.
